Bharatiya Jan Shakti goes on satyagarh

National president of Bharatiya Jan Shakti, Sadhvi Uma Bharti, started Ram setu satyagraha on 6th July at Rameshwaram with thousands of supporters.

Next day two FIR’s were registered against her by Tamilnadu Govt.

She went on a weeklong fast  from 24th to 30th July in Ayodhya. Her party workers went on Padayatra from Rameshwaram to Ayodhya during this period.

She shall be giving her arrest on 21st Aug at Rameshwaram.

Protests against the razing of bridge of Rama

New Delhi, March 9 (IANS) Hindu groups are stepping up protests against the likely razing of an ancient bridge in the narrow sea between India and Sri Lanka due to a shipping project, saying it will be unfair to do away with something of such heritage and religious value.
